This 4-Ingredient Baked Basa Fish under 30 minutes is delicious with just Cajun, Sazon, Lemon Pepper, and Italian seasoning without standing too long in the kitchen.
Preheat the oven to 400℉ and line a baking tray or sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. In this recipe, I added lemon slices to the baking sheet, but this is optional.
Pat the basa fillet dry with a paper towel to help the seasoning stick. Brush or spray some cooking oil on both sides of the fish.
1 150-200g Basa fillet
Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl and stir. Sprinkle and rub gently into the fish, coating both sides. Spray more oil after seasoning for extra juiciness.
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, ½ teaspoon Sazon seasoning, ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning, ¼ teaspoon Lemon pepper seasoning
Place the fish on the lined baking sheet and bake for 12- 15 minutes until it's flaky and opaque throughout. Internal temperature should be 145℉ if checking with a thermometer
Remove from the oven and let it sit for 3 minutes for the juices to distribute. Serve with preferred side.

Notes
Do not add salt to this recipe. Seasonings are already salty.
Pat dry the fish with a paper towel so that the seaonings stick better.
Basa cooks fast. 12- 15 minutes is just okay. Over baking will make it dry.
Line the baking tray for easy clean up and avoid sticking. parchment paper is the best here.
