1boxBrownie mixmine called for oil, eggs and water
8Red M & M’s
16Eyeball sprinkles
16Pretzel twists
Melted chocolate or icing to stick decorations on with
Instructions
Bake brownies as directed on the box, in a 9x13 in baking dish. Line with parchment and spray with cooking spray before putting batter in there.
When brownies are done, remove from oven to cool. Cool until room temperature.
Remove from the pan and trim the edges so you have a perfect rectangle. Cut the brownies into 8 equal sized pieces.
Place a small drop of icing where the eyes go, and carefully push the eyes into the icing/melted chocolate. You will do the same for the nose. I did find it was easiest to put a little icing onto the bottom of the pretzel, and then place it on the brownie. Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
I used the classic chocolate brownie mix here, but you can totally experiment and try out any other flavored brownies too!
You can also throw in some chocolate chunks or chopped nuts to give the brownies a bit of extra texture.
For some extra sweetness and deliciousness, you can top the cooled, cut brownies with some chocolate frosting before you top them with the eyes and pretzels.
Make sure you use room temperature eggs while making the brownies. This is a must if you want the perfect gooey and fudgy brownies.
