This easy Pan Grilled Pork Chop is very juicy and marinated to perfection with my signature marinade, which will make you return for more. I will boast with this marinade because it's the best you'll find out there.
To save yourself from the fuss of making an outdoor fire, using a grill pan is the most convenient way to cook pork chops for dinner. It's also a perfect option for indoor cooking during the winter or a cold day. Grilled meat lovers will also enjoy grilled beef suya.
The grill pan ridges also produce attractive grill marks and raise the chops above the fat they release. The marinade used in the recipe will become your go-to pork marinade every time.
Grilling can be adapted for various proteins, including our juicy grilled catfish. Consider pairing these chops with sides that complement our zesty Caribbean-style grilled red snapper for bolder flavors. If you are looking to expand your grilling repertoire, the same careful attention to heat management used here is crucial when preparing perfectly grilled mackerel.

How to make Juicy Pork Chops
Check the recipe card at the end of this post for a detailed recipe.
- Start by combining all the ingredients in a small bowl.
- Using a knife, score the fat, cutting through it about ½ inch down the end of the "fat" side of the chop. This is to prevent the pork chops from curling up when grilling.
- Pour the marinade all over the pork chops and marinade perfectly. Allow it to marinate for about 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan, melt some butter or add in oil on medium heat
- Pan grill the chops for 5-7 minutes per side on medium heat until it reaches an internal temperature of 145℉. Use the thermometer in the thickest part of the pork chop without touching the bone.
- Remove and let it rest on a plate for 5 minutes, then serve.
Which Type Of Pork Chops Can I Use?
Bone in pork chops is the best to use because it always turns out super juicy.
What Temperature Should The Pork Be?
Since pork is a white meat just like chicken, make sure the internal temperature is 145 degrees F or until the juice runs clear.

What do you mean by “heat a grill pan”? Can I turn it on broil and do these in the oven? Thank you!
Claudy

Just made this recipe and used cast iron grill pan. No need to add any oil or butter to pan, as the pork chops already have the oil on them. This marinade has great flavor, hint of spicy and the honey, garlic and soy sauce is a great combination - the meal was a hit with the family. Will definitely make again!
