Master the art of cooking lamb with our simple yet elegant oven-baked lamb chops recipe. This method yields tender, juicy chops with a perfectly caramelized exterior, rivaling the texture achieved in our crispy baked fish. The careful balance of heat and timing used here is similar to our approach in preparing baked pork chops with herbs and garlic butter, demonstrating how mastering a few key techniques can elevate a variety of proteins.
INGREDIENTS:
- Lamb Rip Chops: About 8 chops from the rack of lamb.
- Fresh Herbs: Thyme, Parsley, and Rosemary. This will give this dish earthly and deep flavors. You can also use dried herbs. Italian seasoning will also be a good option.
- Garlic cloves: Either mince or use the paste. I used garlic paste in this recipe.
- Worcestershire Sauce: This helps to tenderize the meat.
- Hot sauce: For a kick of heat. Also, hot sauce contains vinegar, which helps to tenderize the meat. You can adjust it according to your heat level.
- Spices: Salt, Paprika, Onion Powder, and black pepper. To taste and for flavor.
- Lemon Juice: For flavor and taste
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil

- Marinate: Put the chops inside the marinate bowl and rub generously till well coated. You can allow it to marinate for 1 hour to overnight in the refrigerator.
